Cactus Needle Sunset Photo ExperimentCactus Needle Sunset - There is something special about this photo and I didn't realize it until I set it as my computer wallpaper (computer background image). I can see my computer screen from across the room and there is something about this photo that catches my eye and glues it to the computer monitor. I don't know if it's the colors of orange and black or if it's the prickly needles or maybe it's a combination of everything in the photo, but it always catches my eye.
The purpose of this post is to have other people download the photo and set it as there desktop background and to see if it has the same effect on them (eyes glued to the screen) as it did for me.

3. Leave your computer running with the Cactus Needle Sunset as your background image.
4. Take a break from your computer. For example, go to the bathroom, visit the candy machine, take a cigarette break, or just look away from your computer for a couple of minutes.
5. In step 5, I'm not going to predict what happens. It's like setting a trap for your eye balls. You might notice the black and orange as you glance from across the room. If you work in a cubical you might not see your computer screen until you start to position yourself in your chair and then all of a sudden your eyes get entranced by the orange and black silhouette. It may be the case that your eye balls don't get trapped or glued to the screen. Everyone is different and that's the purpose of the experiment is to find out how many people it affects.

I think art is just another word for beauty, therefore, art is in the eye of the beholder. I suppose art can be created by anyone or anything. It can even be the results of a
monkey or
elephant throwing paint splats onto a canvas. However, "art" is not "art" until it is appreciated by someone. That "someone", of course, can be the artist himself, herself, or itself. Therefore, I consider art to be any graphical image that someone (
human being) deems worthy enough to be placed as the background image (
computer wallpaper) on the display unit of their
personal computer (
laptop,
desktop,
palmtop,
cell phone,
smart phone, etc.). I think everyone has their own definition of art.
